Christopher Lynn

My name is Christopher Lynn. First and foremost, I am passionately in love with Jesus Christ. I am not a pastor, a scholar, or anything of the extraordinary, just an ordinary man who was saved by an extraordinary Savior. My greatest joy is helping those who are broken, lost and defeated, desperate for the same life-changing grace that saved me from the depths of despair.

 

For over a decade I was trapped in a cycle of heavy substance abuse and mental health issues that consumed my life, eventually leading me into devastating hopelessness and darkness. I saw no way out until God’s mercy and grace grabbed ahold of my heart and led me from Tampa Bay, Florida, all the way to the mountains of Prescott, Arizona to Holdfast Recovery.

 

My 90-days of treatment were nothing short of miraculous. I learned what it truly means to surrender my will and my life to Jesus and to trust Him with my whole life. I discovered joy-filled sobriety that I never knew existed, the kind that comes from Christ Himself carrying you.

 

This process isn’t always easy, miracles rarely are, but every step was worth it.

 

Jesus brought me from death into life. Darkness to light. From suicidal thoughts to genuine laughter and authentic joy. From self-centeredness to loving people with His grace and compassion. From resenting God to shouting His goodness from the rooftops.

 

I am nothing special, but that’s the point. God didn’t polish the old version of me; He made me completely new. Everything good in my life today exists because Jesus led me to Holdfast Recovery and welcomed me into the fullness of His Kingdom.

 

He is King and gets all the glory. Nothing excites me more than the thought of you meeting Him too.
