Reviews from men at AnchorPoint
- Brett H.May 2026
“Anchor Point Recovery helped me through one of the hardest times in my life. The staff treated me like a real person, not just another client, and that made a huge difference. Everyone was supportive, easy to talk to, and genuinely cared about my progress. The environment felt safe and positive, and I always felt like people wanted to see me do better. I’m really grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing help.”
- Jacoury H.September 2026
“First, I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude for all staff involved in my recovery here at Anchor Point! I didn’t feel like a client but more like extended family that ofcoarse had my best interest at heart! Allowing my faith to freely be apart of my process was a vital part and again I’m grateful!”
- John B.June 2026
“Anchor Point is a faith based recovery program that does an amazing job helping addicts and those with mental health concerns over come their issues. If you want to strengthen your relationship with God and get help, I recommend Anchor Point. It is great program. The facility is clean and comfortable. The staff are caring and helpful. The therapists are top notch.”

Our team FAQ
- Your own therapist, one-on-one, plus group sessions with the men in the house. House staff are there every day and every night, and a case manager helps build your plan for after. A medical director and a psychiatric nurse practitioner look after your medical and psychiatric care.
- Yes. Our medical director, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and 24/7 nursing are part of the team, so medication is managed and mental health is treated alongside addiction. Suboxone continues and is managed here, and methadone is coordinated with your provider.
- Yes, some of the team have walked this road themselves. Each staff member has a bio on this page, and anyone who shares their own recovery does so by choice. You can ask admissions on the call about the people you’ll be working with.
- The admissions team. A real person answers, and the line is open 24 hours. Admissions walks you through the first call, checks your benefits for free and, if you’re a fit, sets an arrival date with you.
- The clinical director is a licensed professional counselor (MA, LPC), the medical director is a physician (DO), and the EMDR therapist is a licensed professional counselor (LPC). Psychiatric care is led by a family and psychiatric–mental health nurse practitioner. Every team member has a profile with their role and credentials.
- Tim Hayden is CEO. Julie Nave, MA, LPC, is clinical director, and Donald R. Middleton Jr., DO, is medical director. Brendan McDonough is a co-founder. Their profiles, with photos and bios, are in the leadership section of this page.
- One team builds one plan for each man. Admissions handles the first call, your therapist and the medical team lead the clinical work, house staff are with you every day, and your case manager helps build your next step before day 30. Everyone works from the same plan.
- Yes, with your written OK. A group facilitator and family liaison keeps families in the loop, family therapy is one of the therapies here, and family visits on Sundays. Your care is shared only with the people you sign off on.
