Our detox partners handle detox; admissions arranges your pickup.
Substances we treat
Find it on the board and go straight to the page with its name on it. Each one tells you how addiction treatment for men works here, from the first call to the plan you leave with. If it’s more than one, that’s common, and mixing substances carries its own danger. Pick the one that’s hurting you most.

Trauma, depression and anxiety with addiction
The drinking or using is what people see. Under it there’s often something else: years of feeling low, or something you saw or went through that never left. In substance abuse treatment here, every layer gets worked on.
The work goes down through the layers, with the same team, in the same month.
Dual diagnosisMedication during treatment
If you’re on Suboxone or methadone, you come as you are, medication and all. Your medication-assisted treatment is coordinated with your provider, and it continues here.

- Brett H.May 2026
“Anchor Point Recovery helped me through one of the hardest times in my life. The staff treated me like a real person, not just another client, and that made a huge difference. Everyone was supportive, easy to talk to, and genuinely cared about my progress. The environment felt safe and positive, and I always felt like people wanted to see me do better. I’m really grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing help.”

Drug and alcohol rehab FAQ
- Alcohol, opioids and fentanyl, heroin, meth, cocaine and crack, and prescription drugs such as painkillers, benzos and stimulants. We also treat the trauma, PTSD, depression and anxiety that often come with them. If yours is something else, call as you are and admissions will point you the right way.
- Yes. Using more than one substance, or using on top of depression, anxiety or PTSD, is common. Here the using and what’s under it are treated together, by one team, in the same month, because treating one alone rarely holds. That is what dual diagnosis care means at AnchorPoint.
- Detox comes first, at a program that does detox, and then AnchorPoint’s residential treatment begins. If you still need to detox, admissions can help you find a detox, hospital or VA program, then arranges your pickup once you’re medically cleared.
- Yes. Your medication is managed and comes with you. If you’re on Suboxone, it continues, managed here. If you’re on methadone, we coordinate with your provider, with a taper only when it’s appropriate.
- You can call as you are, with or without a diagnosis or a referral. Admissions asks a few questions on the first call, and your team works out the rest with you once you’re here, through residential treatment.
- About 30 days, sometimes 45. How long you stay depends on how the work is going and what your insurance authorizes, and you and your team talk it through as you go. Before day 30, your next step is already planned.
- Yes. AnchorPoint is residential addiction treatment built specifically for adult men. You live in a house with other men doing the same work, which makes it easier to be honest. Men come here from across Arizona and from all 50 states.for adult men only
- Often, yes, but it depends on your plan. Many PPO plans help pay out-of-network. We check your benefits for free, including out-of-network, and tell you plainly what your plan means. For Medicare or Medicaid (AHCCCS), admissions can help find a program that takes them.
- In Arizona, in the pines north of Phoenix. If you’re coming from out of state, fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor and admissions handles the pickup and the drive north, which is under two hours.
- Mornings start with a catered breakfast, then group with the house and one-on-one time with your therapist. Afternoons are the gym and the outdoors, and evenings are dinner together, a 12-step meeting and free time to call home. Phones and laptops are allowed as long as the work comes first.
- No. AnchorPoint is Christ-centered, and men of any faith, or none, are welcome. Bible study groups are there for men who want them, and the rest of the program, from therapy and groups to 12-step meetings and the gym, is the same for every man in the house.
- Yes. Self-pay is one of the ways men pay for residential treatment here, and financing options are available. Admissions talks through the cost with you on the phone before you decide anything, so you know what you’d owe up front.
- Every man leaves with a planned next step. You and your team build it before day 30, whether that is stepping down to outpatient care, sober living or going home with support in place.
