Signs of cocaine addiction
It started as a weekend thing, or a work thing. Now it’s the thing. From the outside you still look fine, but you know what it’s been costing you. If you’ve lost count, read what an 8 ball of cocaine really means.
Add it up honestly: the money you can’t account for, the nights you didn’t sleep, the crash that gets worse, and the lies it takes to keep it going. If the total scares you, that’s the sign. Cocaine is on the list of what we treat, along with stimulants like meth.

Weekend cocaine use and addiction
Friday is just tonight. By Sunday you’re paying for it. Then Monday you show up, do the job, and nobody can tell. That’s how it hides, and that’s how it grows.
- FridayJust tonight.
- SaturdayUp till sunrise.
- SundayThe crash.
- MondayAt work. Nobody can tell.
It looks fine from the outside. The man inside it knows better.
Cocaine and alcohol addiction treatment
For a lot of men they ride together: cocaine for the up, a drink to come down. Treating one and leaving the other is how men end up back where they started.
Here both get treated at the same time, by the same team. If the drinking needs detox, that happens first, elsewhere. Then we pick you up.
- Both treated together
- Detox first, then pickup
Cocaine addiction and mental health
Cocaine is good at covering things up. AnchorPoint holds that most addiction is rooted in trauma, so cocaine addiction treatment here is about stopping and about finding out what the using kept covered up.
Cocaine rehab insurance coverage
Admissions checks your benefits for free, in or out of network, and tells you plainly what your plan covers before you decide anything.
In network
Most PPO plans work out of network too. On Medicare or Medicaid (AHCCCS)? Admissions can help you find a program that takes your plan.

- Brett H.May 2026
“Anchor Point Recovery helped me through one of the hardest times in my life. The staff treated me like a real person, not just another client, and that made a huge difference. Everyone was supportive, easy to talk to, and genuinely cared about my progress. The environment felt safe and positive, and I always felt like people wanted to see me do better. I’m really grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing help.”

Cocaine rehab FAQ
- For cocaine alone, usually you can come straight in. If you drink too, or take pills like benzos, detox may come first, because alcohol and benzo withdrawal can be dangerous. Admissions helps you work out whether you need it. If you do, it happens elsewhere, and once you’re medically cleared we pick you up.
- One-on-one with your own therapist, group with the house, and 12-step meetings, including CA. The work goes after what the using has been covering, like stress, trauma or depression. The gym is open every day, the trails are every week, and before day 30 you and your team plan the way back to work.
- Yes. Cocaine and alcohol often ride together, cocaine for the up and a drink to come down, and both get treated at the same time by the same team. If the drinking needs detox, that happens first, elsewhere, then we pick you up.
- Yes. Crack and powder cocaine are treated the same way here: detox first if you need it, then about 30 days of residential treatment, with therapy on what’s under the using. Tell admissions plainly what you’ve been using and how much, so your team can plan around it. You’re welcome here as you are.
- Your care stays private. It’s shared only with your written OK, and that includes your employer. If you take FMLA leave, your employer gets the medical certification, while the details of your treatment stay private.
- If you’ve tried to cut back and can’t, if a weekend habit now runs into the week, or if you’re hiding money, nights and the crash from the people around you, it’s time to call. Looking fine at work doesn’t mean it isn’t costing you. Admissions can talk it through with you in about 15 minutes.
- Treatment for cocaine here is built on therapy and structure: one-on-one with your own therapist, group, 12-step meetings, the gym and the outdoors. Your medical team, with a medical director, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and 24/7 nursing, manages any medication you need. If depression or anxiety is part of it, both are treated together through dual diagnosis care.
- Often, yes. If you’re eligible, FMLA can protect your job while you’re in treatment; the leave is unpaid. Your employer gets the medical certification, while the details of your treatment stay private, and admissions walks you through time off before you arrive.
- About 30 days, sometimes 45. How long you stay depends on how the work is going and what your insurance authorizes, and your team talks it through with you as you go. Before day 30, your next step is planned, including the way back to work.
- Often, yes, but it depends on your plan. We check your benefits for free, including out-of-network, and tell you plainly what your plan means. For Medicare or Medicaid (AHCCCS), admissions can help find a program that takes them.
- Yes. You keep your phone and laptop, so you can stay in touch with family and check in on work if you need to, as long as the work here comes first. Your care stays private, shared only with your written OK.
- Yes. 12-step meetings are part of the work for every man here: AA, NA or CA. CA, Cocaine Anonymous, is the 12-step fellowship for cocaine, and meetings are something you can keep going to once you’re home.
- Yes. Family visits on Sundays, and you keep your phone the rest of the week. She can also make the first call before you’re ready. It takes about 15 minutes with a real person, at any hour, and every next step waits for your OK.
