“Anchor Point Recovery helped me through one of the hardest times in my life. The staff treated me like a real person, not just another client, and that made a huge difference. Everyone was supportive, easy to talk to, and genuinely cared about my progress. The environment felt safe and positive, and I always felt like people wanted to see me do better. I’m really grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing help.”

Go straight into treatment while your body is clear. Detox manages withdrawal; residential treatment works on what drove the using, with therapy, groups, 12-step meetings and medical care. Admissions can line up your next step while you’re still in detox, so it’s ready by discharge.

Yes. AnchorPoint works with detox referral partners: local detox programs where men can safely withdraw from opioids, alcohol and benzos before coming in. Admissions handles the paperwork with your detox team, so you can focus on your affairs at home. Any detox, hospital or VA program can refer a patient too.

The safe way is detox with medical care. Alcohol and benzo withdrawal can be dangerous, so stopping alone at home is a real risk. Admissions can help you find a detox program, and once you’re medically cleared we pick you up. In an emergency, call 911; in a crisis, call or text 988.

Detox comes first, at a program that does detox: a detox, hospital or VA program. Once that program has medically cleared you, we pick you up and you come into residential treatment for about 30 days, sometimes 45. If you still need a detox program, admissions can help you find one.

Detox clears the substance from your body. The reasons you used are still there, and residential treatment is where that work happens: therapy for trauma, anxiety and depression, group with other men, and a planned next step. Going from detox into treatment keeps your momentum while your body is clear.

Once you’re medically cleared. Admissions can line up your next step while you’re still in detox, so the move is ready by discharge. Admissions talks with your detox team and checks your benefits early, so the pickup can happen once your program signs off.

Yes. Admissions arranges the pickup once you’re cleared, from your detox program or hospital, or from the Phoenix airport if you’re flying in. You, your family or your case manager can make the first call, and admissions coordinates the timing with your detox team.

Yes. Suboxone continues, managed here. If you’re on methadone, we coordinate with your existing provider, with a tapering plan only when it’s appropriate. We work with licensed medical providers on medication-assisted treatment. Bring your prescriptions in their original bottles with a list of doses, and tell admissions what you take when you call.

Men come to us from VA programs too. Admissions works with your VA team on medical clearance and the pickup, and we work with TRICARE and TriWest. Your benefits check is free, so you know where you stand before you decide anything.

Call admissions, which is open 24 hours. AnchorPoint takes adult men with commercial and out-of-network plans. For patients on Medicare or Medicaid (AHCCCS), admissions can help find a program that takes their plan. Admissions talks to the detox team, confirms medical clearance and arranges the pickup.

Your ID and insurance card, your medications in their original bottles with a list of doses, your phone and charger, and about a week of clothes, since laundry is on site. Pick toiletries that are alcohol-free.

Yes. Many first calls come from family, even before he’s ready. Admissions can check his benefits for free and line up the next step with him while he’s still in detox, so it’s ready by discharge.
